Haunted ?

One more from the Old Changi Hospital series. This building is on the footsteps to the hospital and I guess, its abandoned too. To me, the tinted version looks better than the colored one. Give me your opinion.

Merging with the mud...

Broken windows ,broken doors ,lonely passages ,Rusted sinks and taps ..no one around..Rainy Weather..Abandoned Old Changi Hospital... 6 people ( Amit , Ashish ,Imran , Manju , Sham and Myself )..with Camera's ,Tripods and Umbrella's ..
Sounds like a plot for a movie ??... All of us were there for a photo shoot out at Old Changi Hospital near Changi Village. It was eerie place !!! But lot of interesting things to photograph.

Thanks Imran for taking us to this place . We would love to meet again and venture some other interesting places in Singapore

Wooden Houses

Shot at Bintan sea shore. These wooden houses are built on the sea. Its made of a special kind of wood which is durable for a long time even though its on water.

Kids are so energtic and enthusiatic that we can never match their enthusiasm , but their energy level is short lived as they get tired and hungry . These two kids were waiting for their parents to get the icecream ;-) !!

My best friend's wedding at Calicut. What i really like about this photo is the Lamp at the left :)
It was really fun. The official photographers used to look at me whenever i used to come to click the photos. The lighting is by the Videographer's assistant who was the holding the extra light for the video.

Worker at granny's house

One of the workers in my granny's house. The thing which he is wearing on the head which they usually wear when they are working is made up of Palm trees's leaf's stem (The picture below). They even make plates out of that which are usually used in the weddings . They are kind of use and throw plates.
I am posting this from home :) ,another two days :( and then back to work.

China Town

Inspired by Pfong's pic here. This is a shot of Pagoda Street in China town, Singapore. It is a colorful street, and at most times busy. Its also a good place to shop and bargain.

I have reduced the saturation level a bit. Shot at the garden of one of the Buddhist temples in Bintan.

Shot at Mana Mana beach, Bintan, Indonesia. I liked the way this guy was rowing all alone. May be he was in search of an unknown island ;)

GARUDA

The Bell

It was supposed to be a Photobloggers meet ,but only two of them turned .One just a beginner with her Panasonic FZ5 and Ashish with a NIKON D50 and whose dad is himself a professional photographer ,Wow ,Isn't that cool !! Actually i was in two minds to come or not . Everyone else is almost a professional and have a fair knowledge about photography and i was nowhere close to them .But it was really nice to learn somethings .Sad that others cudn't make it ,i am sure i would have learnt much more . Guys please make it next time we decide to meet !!!

The weather was hot ,it was burning. Both of us entered the Mariaman temple at the end of the street. This photo is one of my first shots with Aperture Priority mode which Ashish told me is easier to use . It definitely was ,but it again depends on the situation .
